Mozambique Real Estate Opportunity

Imagine yourself the benevolent owner of three beautiful Indian Ocean Islands in Mozambique, near the historic Afro-Arab Town of Angoche.  In colonial times Angoche was famous for its dance and cuisine and for being the last Sultanate to bow to Portuguese rule (in 1910).  Today the area is famed for its biodiversity, the WWF listing it as one of the 200 most important bio-diversity habitats on earth, an area of global importance for sea turtles, seabirds, whales, and truly spectacular coral reefs.
The local community has set aside three islands for partnership with an investor interested in conservation, history, and in fair, equitable, and environmentally sustainable tourism, which generates income for both the community and the island paradise investor.   Two of the islands are small and will be reserved for conservation and day visits only, while the largest, 17 km long, will be used to create a unique tourism paradise, based on luxury, adventure, history and preservation of culture and wildlife, as well as an appreciation of local cuisine.
The Southern African S.A.V.E. Travel Alliance has identified Angoche and is launching a series of underwater archaeological investigations.  Base camp will be on the island, allowing for a unique opportunity to participate in the rediscovery of history.  Note that two wrecks have already been located in areas of ancient trade significance in gold, ivory and other historic treasures.
This auction lot includes a visit to Mozambique and the opportunity to tender for partnership with the Angoche Fisher’s Association.  You will visit the tranquil and exquisite Quirimbas National Park, one of the world's hidden treasure-troves of extensive wildlife, deep-sea fishing, scuba-diving, safari park experience and more.  You and your loved one will stay at the utterly exclusive eco-boutique on the Quilalea Island Sanctuary, a private island named "World's Best Destination" by the BBC in 2006.
Your visit to Quilalea Island Sanctuary will be facilitated by Peter Bechtel and 21st Century Leaders Foundation in order that you receive the first sighting and first right of refusal for the rights to develop three of the world's most beautiful and pristine West Indian islands, into a successful enterprise and conservation reserve in partnership with The Angoche Fisher's Association and community.
